What is Mediation?
Mediation is a private process where the mediator helps the parties discuss and try to resolve disputes. In Montana, many Courts require parties to attend mediation prior to going to Court. Each party will have the opportunity to describe the issues, discuss their interests and feelings, and explore different ideas for resolution. Even though your participation in mediation may not be voluntary, all of your decisions made at mediation will remain voluntary. As a mediator, Jill will ensure that all parties feel heard and continue to ensure that each parties decisions remain voluntary. We hope to provide a peaceful process and allow the parties to feel they have the ability to cope with the disputes they are facing. Please feel free to call to discuss this service further.
